The International Conference on Valuation Standards hosted by Madam Liu Ping was held at Beijing Conference Center on October 16th. More than 200 attendants including experts from international organizations, supervision departments, domestic societies, valuation firms and universities were present at the conference.
Speeches given by foreign experts in the morning were thought provoking, which brought many relevant questions from domestic representatives. Fields covered in the conference were extensive and discussions were thorough.
The afternoon session was presided by Vice Secretary Ms. Han Liying. During this session, opinions were heard from domestic experts on Chinese valuation standards, which would enhance the general system of valuation standards.
The conference was a success. Experience drawn from foreign cases and suggestions from domestic experts would largely improve the valuation profession as a whole.
