The first G20 Joint Finance and Health Ministers' Meeting in 2022 was held under the Indonesian presidency on June 21 to discuss finance and health coordination arrangements for global pandemic prevention, preparedness and response (PPR), as well as the establishment of a financial intermediary fund (FIF) for PPR. Liu Kun, China's Minister of Finance, attended and spoke at the meeting via video link.
