The 8th Congress of the World Association of Valuation Organisations (WAVO) was held in Daegu, Republic of Korea, from 1st November 2016 to 3rd November 2016. Mr. Zhang Guochun, Secretary-General of China Appraisal Society attended the Congress and made a speech titled “Implementing the Appraisal Law and Enhancing the Self-disciplinary Surveillance in China”.

The theme of the Congress is “Enhancing Quality and Efficiency in Valuation”. Three topics  were discussed at the Congress, namely “Establishing Precise Valuation Standard”, “Building Valuation Monitoring System” and “Artificial Intelligence & Valuation”. Nearly 300 delegates come from 14 countries and regions including China, Hong Kong, the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan and South Korea etc. attended the Congress.
