From May 26 to 27, the Cadre Education Center of the Ministry of Finance and the China Appraisal Society (CAS) jointly held a training course for managers of the asset appraisal industry in 2021 at the Xiamen National Accounting Institute. GENG Hong, President of CAS, and LI Wei, Deputy Director of the Cadre Education Center of the Ministry of Finance, attended the opening ceremony of the training course and delivered speeches. ZHANG Genghua, Vice President and Secretary General of CAS, YANG Songtang, Deputy Secretary General of CAS and SUN Feng, Director of Supervision and Inspection Division II, Supervision and Evaluation Bureau, Ministry of Finance, gave lectures for the training course.

The training course informed the work of CAS since November last year and the work of local societies in 2020, and made the deployment of key work in 2021. In-depth explanations were given on the joint supervision of the asset appraisal industry, the reform of state-owned enterprises and asset appraisal, etc. The training course conducted discussions on the Development Plan for the Asset Appraisal Industry in the 14th Five-Year Plan Period, the Constitution of the China Appraisal Society, the Measures for the Members Management of the China Appraisal Society, the Measures for Rating Asset Appraisal Firms and other systems and key issues of asset appraisal industry development.
