From March 30 to 31, 2021, China Appraisal Society (CAS) held a training course for staffs of asset appraiser examination and training in Kunming, Yunnan Province. YANG Songtang, Deputy Secretary General of CAS, attended the opening ceremony and summarized the deployment of examination training work. A total of more than 90 people attended the training, including examination and training deputy secretary general and staff from 35 local associations across China.

YANG Songtang pointed out that the 2020 Asset Appraiser Examination was conducted against the special background that the COVID-19 pandemic in China has not been resolved, the risk of overseas import is increasing, and the risk of a rebound of the pandemic still exists. CAS fully implemented the instructions of the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, and worked with local associations to improve the scientific, standardized, professional and informational level of the examinations. In the process of organizing and implementing the examinations, CAS improved the system, optimized the process and enhanced the quality, so that the examinations and the epidemic prevention and control work were both safe and successful. In the area of continuing education for asset appraisers, CAS and local societies attach great importance to the cultivation of talents in the industry, take the initiative, innovate ideas, carry out various types of training online and offline, especially based on the normal situation of epidemic prevention and control, actively carry out online training, continuously enhance the relevance and effectiveness of training, and complete the industry training work with high standards and quality.

The training course arranged four local societies in Shandong, Shenzhen, Beijing and Jiangsu to communicate experience in exam training. It also conducted in-depth discussions on 2021 exam and training and trained the operating software of the exam training management platform.
